Digital dimensions can provide a useful starting point, but a physical sample gives buyers an opportunity to inspect the complete packaging arrangement. The actual product, insert, protective layer, closure, and removal process should be tested together.

  • Check loading: Confirm that the product enters without excessive pressure.
  • Check movement: Shake the assembled package gently to identify unnecessary internal space.
  • Check removal: Confirm that customers can take the product out without damaging the package.
  • Check closure: Make sure inserts and products do not interfere with lids, flaps, or magnetic closures.

Custom size packaging boxes can address product fit problems by treating the product, protective space, insert, and box structure as a connected system.
